Presenting a lighting manufacturer in a bright new style
Sans Souci Lighting visual identity—A czech producer of bespoke and residential lighting approached us to redesign their product catalogue. During the initial strategy meetings the project evolved into a full rebranding with the main focus on digital media. In a saturated market, we created a truly unique identity that reflects the spirit of the company as well as the beauty of its product.
Feel the glass—At the core of the new visual identity lies the glass component, from which Sans Souci's bespoke lighting and architectural installations are made. Putting a spotlight on the component makes the identity unique and visually distinctive. The components, in combination with visualizations, enable the presentation of chandeliers both in detail and as a whole. The beauty of the glass is revealed in playful animations, fusing typography and glass refractions, thus fulfilling the company’s motto: Delight in creation.
Digital and print—The identity was designed primarily for digital and motion media. However, print and static applications were also developed, keeping strong consistency across all channels. Use of spot varnish was proposed to enhance the beauty of the components and to bring the “Feel the glass” concept to life in print.
