Ostravar product identity

Status: Project completed in 2002

The rebranding of Ostravar beer resulted from the need for a label which honours the history and tradition of this old brewery (est. 1897) while providing a modern and bold character for a beer with exceptional quality and taste. The horseshoe was chosen as the shape for the label because it symbolizes good luck, of which you can never have enough in the black-coal mining city of Ostrava. Here, after finishing their shifts, thirsty miners meet to celebrate life with a cold one.
